Today I went to a 'shokibarai' for one of my working places. In the name of 'shokibarai', which literally means 'sweeping away the heat of the summer', we Japanese people enjoy foods, drinks, and chatting with people who's got together.
As that work place was new for me and I've had a little difficulty with coping with some stuff there, I did not like the working culture there. But after talking to some people who joiined the small party today, my impression towards the workplace has come to change. Although I talked to some of the participants for the first time today, I realized that they are seriously coping with the situation they are encountering now and are trying to improve it as much as they can. On top of that, most of them are very attractive not only as a teacher but also as a human being.
Now, I have to admit that I am very lucky and happy to have such an opportunity to work for that organization and teach the students there.
A big thansk to everyone who made it all pissible. Especially the program coordinato, Ms N.
